By installing or using the GPTboard keyboard and app ("GPTboard", the "Service"), developed by Charanpreet Singh ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, do not use the Service. You must be at least [13] years old to use GPTboard.
GPTboard is an iOS keyboard extension with a companion app. It offers:
These features are produced by artificial-intelligence models provided by OpenAI. GPTboard needs the keyboard's "Allow Full Access" permission for the text features and microphone permission for voice typing, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Word suggestions and autocorrect do not need any permission.
GPTboard can be used free of charge within a daily allowance measured in tokens (pieces of text and audio processed). When the allowance is used up, the text features and voice typing are paused until the allowance renews. A single voice typing session ends automatically after 10 minutes. We may change the free allowance, the limits and the available features at any time.
GPTboard offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription that removes the daily allowance, subject to fair use (see Section 6). The current price is shown in the app and on the App Store before you subscribe and may vary by country.
You keep all rights to the text you type, the text you copy and the words you speak ("Input"). You grant us and our providers the limited right to process your Input solely to produce the result you asked for.
Text produced by the Service ("Output") is generated automatically by an AI model. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate for your purpose, and transcripts may contain mistakes. Output is not advice of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing Output before you rely on it, send it or publish it. Because Output is generated by a model, similar or identical Output may be produced for other users; to the extent we have any rights in the Output, we assign them to you.
You agree not to:
Voice typing uses your device's microphone through the GPTboard app. After you turn it on, the app may keep the microphone open in the background for up to about 10 minutes so that you can dictate without switching apps; it is released automatically and can be turned off in the app at any time. You are responsible for using voice typing lawfully, including obtaining any consent required where you are before recording other people. Transcription accuracy depends on your microphone, surroundings, language and speech, and is not guaranteed.
The Service depends on third parties: OpenAI processes your Input, Apple provides the App Store, payments and iCloud, and a hosting provider runs our server. Their availability, terms and policies are outside our control. We may change the models or providers we use at any time.
Our Privacy Policy (charanghumman.com/apps/gptboard/privacy_policy.html) describes what information GPTboard handles and where it goes. It forms part of these Terms.
GPTboard, including its software, design, name and logo, is and remains the property of Charanpreet Singh and its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, limits or the Service as a whole at any time. If we discontinue the subscription, you will not be charged for periods after the discontinuation.
The Service and all Output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charanpreet Singh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or reputation, arising from your use of the Service or from any Output, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription through Apple. We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 5, 10, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.
